I am Milagros Suárez Espinós, an architect and artist born in Mendoza, Argentina. Drawing has always been with me: first as a game, then as a language, and now as an essential part of my work.
Over the past 14 years, I've lived in different countries, and each place has given me new ways of seeing. Traveling, observing nature, and lingering over everyday gestures have become my greatest sources of inspiration. Using graphite, watercolor, oil paints, and a graphic tablet, I translate these experiences into images that tell stories.
For more than 16 years, I worked as an architect on housing, retail, institutional, and hotel projects. This career gave me a holistic perspective: the value of detail, the importance of technique, and the ability to transform an idea into something tangible.
This is how, ESPINOS was born: a space where I combine my experience in architecture and my passion for art to create textile patterns and illustrations that inhabit objects, products, and spaces. Each design seeks to move, add beauty, and become something unique.
Today, in addition to my collections, I support brands and projects with freelance design services, creating custom prints and illustrations that connect with people and enhance their identity.
I believe we all have something beautiful inside, and with creativity, we can express it in infinite ways.
Todo empieza con una idea.
Soy Milagros Suárez Espinós, arquitecta y artista nacida en Mendoza, Argentina. El dibujo me acompaña desde siempre: primero como juego, luego como lenguaje, hoy como parte esencial de mi trabajo.
En los últimos 14 años viví en distintos países, y cada lugar me regaló nuevas formas de mirar. Viajar, observar la naturaleza y detenerme en los gestos cotidianos se convirtieron en mis mayores fuentes de inspiración. Con grafito, acuarela, óleos o tableta gráfica traduzco esas experiencias en imágenes que cuentan historias.
Durante más de 16 años trabajé como arquitecta en proyectos de vivienda, retail, espacios institucionales y hoteleros. Esa trayectoria me dio una mirada integral: el valor del detalle, la importancia de la técnica y la capacidad de transformar una idea en algo tangible.
Así nació ESPINOS: un espacio donde reúno mi experiencia en arquitectura y mi pasión por el arte para crear patrones textiles e ilustraciones que habitan objetos, productos y espacios. Cada diseño busca emocionar, aportar belleza y convertirse en algo único.
Hoy, además de mis colecciones, acompaño a marcas y proyectos con servicios de diseño freelance, creando estampas e ilustraciones personalizadas que conecten con las personas y potencien su identidad.
Creo que todos tenemos algo bello dentro y que, con creatividad, podemos contarlo de formas infinitas.
